Starfall
Starfall is a fixed-screen arcade space shooter in the tradition of the early-80s cabinet classics, rebuilt from scratch with neon pixel art, particle effects and a synthesised soundtrack that speeds up as the attacks get heavier.

About Starfall
Alien squadrons swoop in along curved flight paths, lock into a living formation and break off to dive at you in pairs, sweeps and loops. Scouts are fast and fragile, interceptors fly trickier routes, and commanders take two hits.
Commanders can drop a tractor beam and capture your ship. Lose one and you can win it back: shoot the commander while it is diving and the captured fighter docks beside you for dual-fighter mode, with twice the firepower and a wider target.
Every few stages a challenge stage sends 40 enemies through choreographed routes without firing a shot. Hit all of them for a 10,000-point perfect bonus. Scores are kept on a local leaderboard.
